Frequently asked questions
Do I have to add the badge?
No. Your launch is listed either way. The badge tells your visitors where you launched and sends them to your launch page, where they can upvote and comment.
What does verifying do?
It completes the badge milestone in your Maker Progress, one of the steps toward a Community pick for your launch. We open your site, look for the badge and its link to LarkLaunch, and record when we found it.
Verification says the badge is missing, but I can see it
We read the HTML your server sends, like a search engine does. If your site builds its pages in the browser (a single-page app), put the badge in the static HTML or in a footer your server renders. If it is on another page than your homepage, enter that page before verifying.
Can I change how it looks?
Pick the light or the dark version to suit your background, and scale it down on small screens if you need to. Keep the image and the link as they are, so the badge stays recognizable and can be verified.
